I had planned to get back into fishing this year as my other half is pressuring me to sell the boat if I’m not going to use it. I know the boat needs to have all 4 battery’s replaced and in doing so it will cut into my gun buying for awhile.

Best of luck on your smallie adventure

Fishing = 1 Jerk waiting on another Jerk

Half the fun of fishing is getting there

    this is at BAFB

If the weather holds I will be smallmouth fishing the Potomac in a few weeks. Put fresh line on all the rods last week and got the boat cleaned up and almost ready to go. Fresh spark plugs and lower unit oil will go in sometime this week and everything will be ready to hit the water.

Just wondering what the lower Potomac is gonna be like this year. Last couple years been not so good. Another bad year and I may sell my Ranger for gun money.

I'm expecting to take a handful of Cub Scouts out in about a month. The activity will be called "fishing," but will more than likely just be a bunch of muddy kids drowning worms.

Still, it's better than being parked on the couch watching Spongebob.

I'm looking forward to fishing. I got a fly rod for the first time this year; I plan to test it out on some of the trout streams in G.W. Forest in VA. On the salt water side, I'm looking forward to getting down to St. Mary's county for striper season!

I was in Florida for a couple weeks and did as much fishing as I could from shore. I bought a 'decent' spinning combo and Hit a bunch of small lakes with high hopes. Landed one tiny bass and had a few other hits. Still it was fishing in 70 degrees.
I plan to put the boat in the lake this weekend and see if I can get any bites. I didn't get out much last year so if my back lets me I plan to fish my balls off

I can't wait until it warms up a a little more, need to get the boats uncovered and fired up this coming weekend. Hopefully the batterys will still hold a charge and the mice didn't do too much damage over the winter.
