Because it will not work on his COLT magazine.

Would you mind posting a video. I would like to see what you have and how it works. I haven't had any success using a MagLula on my Colt mags.

Yes, this is the one you want. The regular maglula doesn't work for a staggered loading mag. This one works very very well.

Hands down, this will be the new standard if ETS can price it properly. Announced at SHOT show this past week.
Winner.

Saw a video of a similar product a year or so ago, but it only worked for rifle mags.

This is so simple, I hope there are some competitors.

The only thing, the several videos I have seen of it, they don't say how it works on double stack designs. Of course, ETS doesn't want to divulge their secrets but using it on one of their translucent magazines would be easy to figure out.

I guess the people making the videos don't want to bite the hands that feed them.

Another vote for the Maglula Uplula. One of the best accessories I have ever bought. My fingers thank me every time I use it to lead magazines!

This is the one you want. I have the loader for standard double-stack mags and the one for the Colt SMG mags, and the standard doesn't work nearly as well as the SMG specific loader.
