Not really a true lever gun, but it has a lever.

Ithaca M-66 single shot in .410. Everyone I know drools over this one and has to have it. I have turned down some pretty good offers.

my LGS just took one in, except in 12g.

I had a 12ga at one point. It was cut to 18" and refinished very nicely at some point in its life. I took it to a friends farm one day and he HAD to have it. We made a deal.

The 12ga models are pretty easy to find. The .410 is a different story.

They also made a 12 and 20 gauge slug model with short barrels and iron sights. Also, not the easiest to find but they are out there.

I have the twin to this one, I don't shoot it much but people love it.

Since showing it to people here and there, there hasn't been one that has not tried to buy it from me.

Not sure what the change has been lately, but it seems like everyone I know is looking for a .410 shotgun. Not sure why.

The black and white pic is of my grandfather opening Christmas gifts at home in 1957 at, of all places, Anacostia DC. The rifle leaning against the wall is a Winchester Model 94, which I now possess (color picture). My grandmother purchased it from a hardware store in NE DC. Ahh, those were the days! I also have that neato pair of 'Lafayette' walkie-talkies that he's opening on his lap!

Unrelated, but I also have a 'Montgomery Ward/Hawthorne Viking' 12 gauge pump gun, as well as a Remington .22 pump 570 'Fieldmaster' and a .22 Colt 'Frontier' pistol that were his.

Four shot sight in with my new Skinner Alaskan sight for the JM 1895CB. Three cover holes are old shots. #RecycledTargetLivesMatter

Just picked up my first lever action from a fellow MDS member. Took it apart and cleaned it, now I just need to go out and shoot it. Anyone have any tips on how to get magazine tube off. I wasn't able to slide it through the top band. It moved a little but I didn't want to force it.

Congrats! Why do you want to remove it?
There are videos online which can help.
I have a tendency to disassemble and clean everything I aquire as well, but if it functions, I just leave a lever gun alone. Clean and lube what I can reach and that's all I usually do.
