Here ya go, listed on www.ssporters.com. I hope Russell and the Rodgers family did well, as he always treated me well on my seemingly never-ending parts searches.
Curious to see how this all shakes out with Century. Believe that there's still a large inventory held by SS in both firearms and parts.

Interesting. I'd have expected a surplus parts company like Numrich or SARCO to buy their inventory, but never a company like Century. Maybe they'll monkey together some FrankenBubba stuff.
Be a shame if they ruin good parts or use for crap.

Wasn't Century one of the biggest importers at one time? I feel like CAI is stamped on almost every important milsurp.

They were and are a big importer but the stuff they sell under their own name is usually crap. Some years back a co-worker bought a Century Arms clone of the FN-FAL...he was real happy with it until he tried cleaning it and the finish wiped off. Then he was pissed.

Century seems to go after the cheapest surplus guns to resell...which was usually the guns in the crappiest condition. I realize if Century didn't import this stuff someone else would have but during the '80s and '90s most everything with the "CAI" import stamp was the dregs of surplus.

I'm going to try and look at it as a positive thing. Russell seemed for years to be struggling to keep SS afloat. He certainly wasn't competitive with Numrich or Sarco in the parts business. Lord knows how much more is sitting there, slowly rusting away. I was there for the big auction two decades ago when Russell's father passed. In the end Sarco and Century swooped in and bought up most of the lots of rifles and parts offered for sale. It's a huge facility and I only saw a fraction of it. Here's to hoping Century does a good job and saves what's there before it is ruined by time and neglect.

well at least now maybe the parts will get sold, i need some stocks and stuff but im not sure how or when Century will do it.

I might be in need of an 03 stock. I may have a buddy with a barreled receiver that needs a good home. So hopefully they do make it available.

Im curious what they had? Never heard of them remember when Navy Arms, Samco and Old West Scrounger got bought up.

At least it didn't got to "Classic Arms"

I picked this guy up at a pawn pretty cheap and it has a good bore and no extra holes so it deserves a new stock and metal to make it whole again..

Well that didn't take long! Got an email from Century this morning with SS items. Indian Drill Parade No1 MKIIIs, SMLE cup style grenade launchers, No 4 spike bayonets.
I remember buying a grenade launcher from SS about a decade ago to go with my Indian No1 MKIII GL rifle. Price at that time was $115. Today's price: $150. Not outrageous.
    The No4 bayonets are $13.
No price available to me on the DP SMLE (I'm at work and unable to log in with my C&R account) but the example in the photo was rough. If they're asking too much (and I bet they are) then they're not even a good deal for spares.
They're also selling Turkish Mauser barrelled actions for $240. That doesn't strike me as an awesome deal.

Last bayos I bought from SS were NIW sav marked pig stickers that were 6 or 8 dollars a piece.
About two months later that was it.
Lots of No4 fore ends were available at the same time and I passed them up because I didn’t need them.
Shouldn’t have done that. Century should be sitting on a pile of later LE parts not to mention some earlier stuff as well.
