For future reference (if you are asking for a friend of course) Vortex is pretty generous with discounts to the LEO/military/gov crowd. Most of their stuff is 40% off MSRP which is normally still 10-20% below retail.

Sorry to threadjack but activejunky dot com is currently offering 10% cashback for both Cabela's and BassPro. Usually it's at 6-7%. I've been using active junky for years. Your earnings/cashback is paid out once a quarter so the gratification is not immediate for sure.
