I mocked up a set of Weaver medium-height scope rings on the RPR last night and the first obvious thing I noticed was that they are not going to be tall enough for my 4.5-14x40 scope. I doubt a 3-9x30 would fit either.
What are you guys going for scope rings and scopes?

I have a 4-12x44 on this one. I think the rings are medium, but the rings were already set. There is a bit of clearance under the objective bell.

Does the RPR come with a 20moa base? If not you may want to get a new base and account for the ring height that way. Edit: Looks like the RPR comes with 30 moa built in. I'd go with Warne med rings for a 40mm objective.

Looking at specs for a set of generic Weaver medium rings (30mm), the height from base to ring edge is .37 inch (9.39mm). There should be enough clearance for a 40mm objective. R= (15 + 9.39)

I received the med & high 30mm Weaver rings and mocked up my 4.5-14x40 scope tonight and took a couple of pictures showing the clearances. With the medium rings the clearance is minimal. The high rings give me the clearance and positioning I am looking for.
