    That's very interesting.

    The 16" barrel brings the rifle to 26".

    Is the 3" longer length that more constraining than 23" sbr?

    Edit: somehow I don't think that math works out...

    Std 16 inch barrel make SBR in MD, the 20 inch barrel brings it to just under 30, so MD legal. The Micron kit takes it down to 23 inches I think. You cant have that in MD, unless they produce a "pistol" version. They have to change the vertical forward grip to an angled grip.

    Right. I'm interested in the 20" 6.5 creedmore - 30", MD legal.

    16" barrel makes it 27" in MD, illegal since under 29", but still not sbr.

    But does the 23 vs 26 inch make it more maneuverable? [Not that I'd be able to buy either.]

    I’m thinking about fabricating a replacement Butt plate with a wire stock extension that slides out to meet the 29” rule.

    A similar approach has been done on an SBR ps90 in md.

    But is it worth it?
