This article is hysterical for a few reasons. Curious what the thoughts might be around this, especially since he espouses the same anti-gunner ******** I see everywhere else. I support Hogan...for now, but really, the choices are becoming less and less attractive.
A few highlights:
"AK15" - Nice...
"[The Parkland kids] have seized the moral authority on the issue of gun regulation which began as a national movement after 17 schoolkids and teachers were gunned down by a deranged schoolmate at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., whose warning signs were ignored by the adults in charge." - Do you, per chance, mean: the social workers involved with his case, the FBI, the local PD, and the school administration? Not "the adults in charge." That's a big distinction to make.
"During the past session, the General Assembly outlawed “bump stocks,” the add-on gizmo that converts a semi-automatic weapon into a machine gun." - Again, no. Not by legal or objective definition does a bump stock convert a semi into a machine gun.
These kinds of articles bother me so, so much, because opinion and emotion-driven verbiage muddy the waters of fact, and as we all see on a daily basis, people repeatedly vomit whatever they've heard / read / saw on Facebook out as fact. I'm only hoping the monthly viewership on "Maryland Matters" is pretty low.
