I was thinking to scrap them, is there a reason to keep them?

Nothing - IMO I would throw them away, as it is not worth reloading. Most steel cases are Berdan primed and they have two smaller flash holes, when a Boxer primer (which is probably whay you use to prime your cases) requires one larger flashole. I am definately no expert on reloading so feel free to correct me if im wrong or enhance my explanation above. There are other cons to reloading steel as well

I thought this was a good write up and should be helpful

Not all steel cased is Berdan primed. I managed to get one reload out of a Hornady case. There are ways to reload Berdan cases, it's just a pain and they only import Berdan primers to the US once a year.

Separate & Save the Steel & Aluminum Casings to sell to a scrap metal dealer...

Brass is a Malleable Metal, Steel & Aluminum have less Ductility & are less Malleable...

Malleable in our case means easily re-formed using common reloading tools...

Brass is the best ultimate material to use for bullet casings...

Aluminum & Steel are just cheap throw away cartridges...

It's hard to polish a turd...

A scrap yard down the road takes them for steel. Better than nothing! They are right around 5 bucks a 5 gallon bucket I think.

Sounds about right. Steel is running .03/lb at the scrap yards right now.

The price for scrap metal is directly tied, somehow, to the price of gasoline. When gas was at $4/gal steel was .07/lb and stainless steel was .70/lb. On our last run clean stainless was .23/lb.

you could drill a hole in kitchen tiles and incert them and use for a kitchen stove backsplash. Then invite liberals over for a lasagna bake :)
