I have added a few over the past few months since my last post.
Original US Govt issued bayonets, WWI through Vietnam. M1905s, M1, M4, M5, and M7. Ages range from 1907 through 1971.
I have the 1903 Springfield bolt-action through the M16 covered.
I would still like a 1906-16 SA M1905 in a M1910 scabbard to round it out.
The best of the collection are the two 1942 Detroit Gasket Company M3 scabbards - they are rare. Their contract was cancelled early in the war.
M1905 (16”) RIA, 1918, walnut grips, w/ Detroit Gasket M3 scabbard.
M1905 (16") AFH, 1942, reddish/brown grips, w/ Detroit Gasket M3 scabbard.
M1 (cutdown - 10") SA, 1918, spear point, Prob Greek return, w/ M7 scabbard
M1 (10") AFH, black grips, M7 scabbard
M4 ACC, lacquered leather grips, M8 scabbard
M5 Imperial, DAS stamped, M8A1 scabbard
M7 (X2), purchased recently from CMP, unissued, M8A1 scabbard
