Funny I was just talking about going out for fall turkey with a friend at green ridge. Have you hinted there before?

We're thinking about going also. My total fall season bag so far...is 3 jakes and 1 hen over a course of many years hunting GRF.
Finding a turkey flock is easier if you can roost them the night before. Toms usually form bachelor groups of three. Finding a flock is difficult during the daytime, but a large flock will make a lot of noise in the dry fall leaves. Lost turkey kee-kee runs, work best for me.

If the flock hears a kee-kee run...chances are --- that at least one turkey will break flock and come in, and most likely a jake or a tom; or the whole flock.

I wish I could go patuxent. Last weekend when was out for deer I saw turkeys on three occasions. One dart across my trail same place I saw them last fall. I treed one about 150yds further up the trail and then the next day I had 6 run across the fields by Brown's church.

Yup - All three of these. I have nix my trip due to a baptism. Was going to hunt the am before it, but having never scouted that probably wont be the best idea

I had a flock of 20 feed within 15 yards of my stand Saturday. It would have been a chipshot with my bow. Wrong county, wrong day.
