  • My friend Lisa hasn't shot since I sold her a CZ82 prior to FSA2013. She also owns an old shotgun. She lives in Ocean Pines and is willing to travel a reasonable distance for some firearms refreshing. In our current times, she is concerned about protecting herself and her preschool daughter.
If anyone is willing to spend a few hours at the range with her (she will supply her own ammo) to get her "gun legs" back on, I would be very grateful.
    .
Hopefully she will be registering an account on MDS very soon.

    Thanks in advance,
    Kyle/Squaregrouper

I’ve had success helping many others in similar situation via this Locator:
(Search by zip I.e., within 10, 25 miles, etc. is at bottom)

She is ready to pay an instructor, but her finances are really tight. I told her to let me reach out to MDS to get an experienced shooter to spend a few hours of range time pro bono.

I would totally fund her basic instruction if needed. PM me with details.

Understood. I threw it out there as she would be getting at least somewhat of a “known quantity / quality”. When I was a NRA Instructor I was always impressed by their emphasis a training be pretty much the same in Seattle WA as is Sarasota FL or Phoenix AZ as Portland ME ... lotta really head scratchers out there considering themselves / ourselves “instructors!” ;)

Best o’ Success (and Safety) to her and her daughter!

    Hopefully it works out.

The cz82 is an excellent pistol. Probably the most accurate handgun I own (or at least that _I_ can shoot).

She can get Hornady Critical Defense in 9mm Markarov, also

If she’s hot, I can help remediate her training in being a single mother.

I love how there's not a single thread that cannot devolve into juvenile teen male talk. But you never answered Ammo Jon's question...
