Springfield receiver and all new WWII internal parts. New SA 1-55 barrel.
Stock is the only replacement. DCM hard case.
Garand manual, 10 enbloc clips, and a new sling.

I zeroed it in at 100 and pounded a 6 inch steel.
    Then my talent ran out.

I'm very jealous of you. When I went overseas I had to sell my small collection. I had a M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, STV-40, Lee Enfield Mark III.... Sigh... That is a beautiful rifle!

Nice looking rifle, congratulations! It deserves a better case, not much protection from those CMP cases, there just isn't enough foam.

Best not store any gun in a foam lined case. They can damage the finish and promote rust. Good for transport, not long term storage.

    Very good looking rifle.

Very nice looking rifle! Sounds like it is fun to shoot also.

VERY fun to shoot... just costs quite a bit. My current ammo was 67 cents per round. Gets pretty expensive!!! Most fun gun I have to shoot though! I'm saving my brass and will eventually reload.
