The sad part is i wouldn't put it past any of these assholes to propose something like that next.

I'm going to work on converting the Democratic Party into a Heaven's Gate-esque cult. If we can't get them to understand, love and embrace liberty for all free Americans, maybe we can convince them to kill themselves.

I'll get ole Lunchbucket Joe to bring the shotguns.

We just need to stop feeling like we need to regulate everything!

    Great articles!

How about if they only allowed you to have 10 gallons of gas in your car? Or created a shortage in gas intentionally?

Or banned telescoping or folding seats? Or telescoping steering wheels?

Or banned the sceeery black ones? With sceeeery looking grills?

Or made you wait 70+ days to pick it up AFTER fulfilling all of the requirements to be able to make a purchase? And delayed acknowledging receipt of or lost the applications?

Or put a large portion of the applications in a further review pile creating longer waits? With no recourse?

You don't understand. The car industry is already government owned and controlled, the gun industry is not.

Not all of it. But they do impose manufacturing regulations on both industries.

They want to own/control everything. That is abundantly clear.

There is a significant minority of liberals who hate automobiles, and perhaps even the very idea of personal transportation. They agitate every way they can for making driving as slow and expensive as possible, delaying or quashing road projects, and pushing people into public transportation (which is far more expensive per-passenger) whether they want to or not.

Do some of those folks work for the MD DOT?
