Only if you don't care about your 2A rights and only if you have no principles. Again, Hogan can stop nothing that the general assembly wants to pass. A vote for him or a vote for jealous is exactly the same thing. At least I can sleep peacefully at night knowing I did not betray my own values.

So, your values include preferring an actual socialist running the executive branch of the state government? Someone who is enthusiastically proposing colossal tax increases and government expansion, punitive redistributionist policies, and who - rather than being squishy on 2A - thinks you shouldn't be allowed to even have a shotgun? I can't come up with a set of values that rationally embraces those things. Please outline them.

No disrespect Stan, but since you live in Colorado now & have no stake in Merry-Land Election Outcomes, maybe you should stop trying to influence Merry-Land Voters to NOT VOTE FOR HOGAN...

This is my plan as well.

The really disturbing part is Hogan knowing that he's crapped all over us and that we'll still vote for him.

It's why engaging in the political process is quickly losing its luster.

What he knows is that most of the people who vote in this state are Democrats. If he stands any chance of being a moderating influence against crazy liberals in any way whatsoever, he has to actually be elected in a state of mostly Democrats. It's not complicated.

But will you sleep better at night with the additional $24B tax burden being proposed by BJ or that Maryland''s Democrat Gubernatorial Candidate Suggests Ban on Shotguns.

Just read how BJ is driving the wedge between us and Hogan. It's like they are reading the negative comments here on MDS. :tinfoil:

I fully understand that it's not complicated.

It's just that many people across this great nation are absolutely sick and tired of having to vote for a sh!t sandwich with cheese instead of just a plain sh!t sandwich.

For once, I'd like to vote for a prime rib buffet and well stocked salad bar and actually be able to sit down and enjoy a prime rib buffet and well stocked salad bar.

If you are voting for Hogan you are not seeing the big picture. You're telling the MDGOP that you like Hogan-type candidates and you would like another sh!t sandwich in 2020. Vote for Craig or write-in "NO GUN GRABBERS" as your candidate for governor and you will tell the MDGOP that Hogan is NOT OK and you reject their sh!t sandwich, even if it has cheese on it.
