So with a CCW, I am be able to store a handgun in a vehicle, but I would like a lock box that can be bolted down. Likewise, I am in addition, looking for a home solution as well. Recommendations?

I have a couple of FAS1 bolted down around the house. Simplex lock with a key override. Someone with tools and time can get in, but they are not quite as flimsy as most of the other consumer grade stuff.

Costco sometimes has them for much less. I like mine.

I prefer the biometric version... otherwise identical to that one. Opens with a finger swipe, or a combination, or a key. Very solid construction.

I've bought two off the shelf at Home Depot... but not all of them keep it in stock. You can also order (cheaper) on amazon.

I have nothing constructive to offer, but I came here to post this:

I just purchased this for home:

    https://www.gunvault.com/product/minivault-standard/

It has a bio metric option, I got the non-bio version. I haven't bolted it down yet. They only sent 3 screws but the manual references 6.

For the car I have the gun vault nano. It comes with a security cable that locks inside the safe. I would wrap it around the passenger side front seat floor bolts. Then I could take the carpet and throw it over the vault. It would be difficult to see if I didn't point it out to you.

I like having it in the passenger compartment so that I could sit in the drivers side to dis/arm if need be and safely store and lock without drawing attention. I used to be able to carry in PA on my UT permit but our church met in a school. So I would leave it in the vehicle locked and then after church when we would go eat and shop arm discreetly.
