    Oh, I know the history of the 10mm MP5. Its just they have historically been impossible to get parts for (and thus supidly expensive.) The 'in stock' part is what surprised me (plus not much more $ than 9mm kits.) Looks like someone is making aftermarket barrels finally. Though I wish they had used the proper metric muzzle thread vs stupid SAE:( I guess thats not too big a PITA if only using the 10/40 specific 3-lug adapter.

    I would definetly use an adjustable gas block. The 16" 308 I built would not run without it. I used AERO upp and low with a Fulton Armory nickel boron plated bcg and ODIN WORKS adj gas block .750. It was WAY overgassed with non-adj gas block. I have it opened half way and 2 clicks less for suppressed and it runs great. If you use a muzzle brake it will be louder than the Hammers of Hell. You'll make a lot of new friends at the range.
