No, 1000 rds is okay.

Whenever i buy in bulk i always get it online or at a show, not cause im worried about the state knowing but rather i get a better deal that way.

Someone ask this about ammo years ago on MDS. He didn't want some kind of federal folder with his name on it.
Somebody replied "We all have folders on us, you just need to worry about how thick yours is".

Yeah, I buy at least 1,000 rounds at a time. A trip to the range uses up about 300 rounds -- I like to go 2x week. So ....

Lol, 1000 rounds of 9mm is like a good start. Buy in bulk to save $$. Easy to blow through half that in a few hours.
