For anything standard capacity:
-Plymor 4-mil ziplock bags w/ (30) rnds apiece for rifle, (17) for pistol along with a 1 gram desiccant in each bag
-Cured Silicone caulk lined seal on gi .50cal ammo can for rifle, .30 Cal can for pistol. Some seals can be hit or miss in my experience evidenced by surface rust where previously there was none which could've just been a shitty paint job.
Using the methods above I can store 1000 rds of 7.62x39, 5.45x39, and 5.56x45 per can tightly but not crushingly tight. There's so much dessicant in there that if the can doesn't implode your not going to have rust problems. I store them 30 to a bag because I love my U-loader.
