I also do not see a problem threaded barrel stock that can be adjusted to the use good sights pre installed where is the problem??

Where dies it indicate the stock is adjustable? It seems to be fixed but asjustablefor that price would be the cat's meow.

Upgraded sights that are actually useable. actual rail versus the crap they usually provide. An adjustable stock already equipped with sling swivels. I'm liking this thing a lot. I see no functional use for the flash hider but it would sort of match my mini14.
The stocks a bit ugly but I don't look for beauty in a 10/22.

Cool, thanks. I thought the groove was decorative only. Nice to know.
I've had two 10/22's and didn't feel very warm about either one of them. But this could change if it shoots better than the previous two.

I remember the contest fondly and some of the entries.
This one, the winner is no where near as hodgepodge as most of those suggested by fans. I like it, a lot.

There is a subtle reason for the "flash hider". Many people who are instructors for Project Appleseed buy these rifles for loaner rifles for students attending. This flash hider helps protect the muzzle from student abuse.
