Hand forged, custom made from basic models. Terrific prices. Good communication and on the go updates. Well worth six weeks and shipped directly from the dirt floor forge shop in Kathmandu.

Trouble with a khukuri, you always have to draw blood when you unsheath one

Beautiful Blade! That would make any ghurka proud

From my specific requests I think it was a mere $150 to my door in four days from shipment. They do all kinds of blades but their Khukuri are phenomenal. And they are deceivingly light. This will not be my only blade and probably not my only Khukuri from them. You should see their torture tests

Beautiful piece! I am in the market for another Kukri. I had to sell one of mine along with some other blades a few years back to fund my Knob Creek excursion. I did not use mine, it was a show piece in my collection. I loved the birchbark handle. I also had a beautiful damascus blade that I never had finished.

Yeah, I have no use for something that size but itd look good hanging on the wall I suppose.

There’s always a use! Do you hunt? It replaces a hatchet or saw for taking off hooves/head, splitting the chest open.
    Processing smaller wood for fires.
Great camp knife if you do some rustic camping.
    Great for zombies

    The list goes on

I will say, they are beautiful knifes, but like others said, I don't think I want/need one. If I am going self defense, I and bringing my 1858 for primitive or a glock 19. :D

I hunt, a lot, and use a 3.5" fixed blade drop pointed knife. guts and skins them great. I don't split chests anymore, just shave a dead stick to two points and prop open the belly cavity and it lets plenty of cold air in fast enough. My knife weighs a couple ounces in my pack/belt and yours looks like its easily a pound and a half.

It's all in what blows your skirt up. ;)

Sure enough. I butcher in the field though. In the fall I do a lot of outdoors, camping, and craft. A good chopper is always a need for that.
This is a tool not a weapon. I have a gun on me everywhere I go.
