Forgive me that I don't post often, but came across this while checking on bills my Senator Ellis is sponsoring https://legiscan.com/MD/bill/SB1000/2019
Apparently it was introduced today. :mad54: :mad54:

    Summary
Altering the process by which a person who is denied a certain handgun permit or renewal of a permit or whose permit is revoked or limited by the Secretary of State Police or the Secretary's designee may appeal the decision; repealing provisions of law relating to the Handgun Permit Review Board; providing that appeals from a certain decision by the Secretary or the Secretary's designee may be made to the Office of Administrative Hearings in a certain manner; etc.

It removes the handgun permit revue board and forces an applicant to appeal a denial by MSP to the office of administrative hearings which is full of judges, most of whom have been appointed by liberal governors. In other words when this passes it will become even harder to get a wear and carry permit...probably damn near impossible.
