I try and succeed all the time. But it makes zero difference. Being American Socialists, they still vote straight American Socialist ticket. Being good little Socialists they would support gun turn ins if told to, and gladly turn their's over. The concept of freedom, it's rarity and value goes right over their head.
I took my BIL from bb guns to multiple NFA applications in one week. He would be the first in line to turn his firearms over if ordered by his socialist overlords.
But they still vote for Democrats, who in turn still vote to restrict our 2A rights. Yes, they may become a convert for the 2A, but will that change how they vote? I still take them to the range, it still doesn't change how they vote. How do we change how they vote?

True dyed in the wool liberal democrats are not interested in listening to anyone who challenge their agenda..one big problem in Maryland and elsewhere is that many democrats have lost touch with what has become their party's values, but continue to vote for the communists anyway..those folks usually can be reasoned with ..unfortunately they are a small minority of those on the left..right here among the MDS members there are still democrats who have yet to understand that the democrat party of their parents no longer exists..but getting them to change is very hard...anyone who owns guns and still votes for a Democrat is doing themselves and the rest of us an injustice. .
Don't remember if I posted this, but that person was me, BTW we still need to get a beer.
It is past time to do this and call out everyone via social media, pick one and pick them apart, if one person picked one elected official, or even if one person picked their district, there would be a non stop litany of video against those in Annapolis that want to infringe on our rights.
I would go a step further and also add video of those leading anti-2A organizations on how they want people to be victims of violent crime.

This needs to be updated for 2022, and that needs to start sooner rather than later.
As has already been discussed, probably not legal, but you never know until you press the issue. My only issue is that everyone has a right to personal protection and their choice to exercise it, preventing them from doing so, either by lack of a purchase or lack of training, makes us no better than the other side. We really need a true discussion on this issue, to flesh the idea out.
While homes of elected officials are out of bounds per state law (I think that is Unconstitutional), their places of business are not out of bounds. And by the way, the homes of Anti-@a Lobbyists are not out of bounds.
This was started at one point, but not sustained, this needs to be revisited and restarted in some way shape or form. Perhaps tip jars at all FFLs that are collected each week and the proceeds turned into the organization dujur.
To add to this, we need to dive headfirst into "Rules for Radicals", but that requires a real committment of time and effort to get it started, but once the grass roots of RfR is started, it takes less effort to maintain, if I understand it correctly from our resident expert (Yes, we have a gentleman that has worked directly with Mr. Alinsky on this board and he very active in the 2A community).
