    Yes. Congrats on the nice kill.

    Eastern sure swamps can be not only real tough hunting but real tough walking. Blackpowder we went out in swamp with already high tide. Wind blew even more water in as we sat. The island we were on was no island anymore. Over foot of water covering island. Get out to swamp where we were normally only knee deep. Now it was chest deep. Man. That's a scary thing. No bad weather. Just strong winds pushing water in and creating extremely high tide.

    To get the big ones sometimes you have to do big things.

    after getting into bow hunting...the further the shot away really is just target practice...skill is ambushing them..IMO

    I'm mostly a bow hunter and have taken several P&Y deer with my bow. This was the first year that I've had a chance to hunt with a rifle and it was fun being different. No where near as hard as bow hunting.
