NHMTG makes Colt mags and a few others marked by rifle manufacturers. Brownells are just as good though.

From what I'm reading, the NHMTG magazines will be marketed as "Okay" magazines.

    From the website:
Unfortunately NHMTG branded magazines have been discontinued by the manufacturer and as a result we will no longer be able to offer this popular item once current inventory is exhausted. The same magazine is now being produced under the Okay Industries brand name. The Okay and NHMTG magazines are identical except for brand markings.
New 20 round capacity straight body AR15/M16 magazines made by NHMTG in Hartford, CT. These top quality mags are the factory magazines for Armalite, Colt, Rock River Arms, Wilson Combat, and other major AR15 rifles manufacturers.

    Floorplates are marked:

    .223 cal/5.56 mm
    NHMTG S/42
    HARTFORD, CT

OKAY Industries has been making AR15 mags (good ones) for decades.

They are located in New Britain CT, right down the road from Colt.

I'd bet that the only difference between OKAY and Colt mags is the stamping OKAY puts on the floorplate.

I would sure never pay a premium for a current production Colt marked mag.

Wouldn't be surprised if NHMTG and OKAY are one in the same.

I've had good luck with the Brownells mags too.

Wait till they go on sale. They would dip to $9.99 as late as this summer. Now $10.99 seems to be about it.

    Brownells!

    Cproduct and Elander suck

    I love the Brownells mags.

I've had good luck with Pro Mag I think it is? But they're steel and heavy. But when you bead blast them they look great. My personal favorites are 60s/70s Colt contract mags. A good friend around these parts hooked me up with a few. Nothing beats 20rd metal mags.

I have 6 OKAY and COLT surplus 20 rounders that are just gathering dust in my spare parts cabinet now that I have all my PMags and HexMags. PM me if interested.

Colts are the best, but Brownells sells a solid magazine.

I'll bite. What makes them better? Seriously, I own a bunch of Brownell's and Pmags; the only Colt's I have came with the few Colt AR's that I own. I never had any problem with any of them.

If Colt is indeed better I'll buy Colt.
