Did not see this with search, hope not a dupe...

The decision Wednesday by U.S. District Judge John C. Coughenour came in a lawsuit brought by Redmond-based P.W. Arms Inc., which obtained permits to import more than 100 million rounds of the Russian- and Eastern European-made ammunition known as 7N6. When the first shipments arrived in early 2014, the ATF deemed them “armor-piercing” and barred their importation for civilian resale.

ATF has now ruled that these are "armor-piercing" too...

And this is why smart attorneys try to find nexus in a venue least likely to be biased against their arguments. 9th Circuit? Really?

Considering the company (PW Arms, Inc?) is located in the 9th, I'm not sure there was an option. I wonder if this will be pursued up the court system... it might make an interesting ruling from the SCOTUS.

It's us against them folks. ALWAYS keep a large supply of ammo.

This is the thing, the Left keeps screaming that they won't confiscate or take our guns, easy enough to believe, but what they will do is make firearm ownership and enjoyment so costly and bothersome with regulations, rules, and taxation that a person will either not be able to afford it or will not be able to enjoy the hobby.

What if they declare that ammo needs to be stored in special "safety containers" that are fire proof and blast proof and very expensive due to the extreme levels of performance that the government demands they have? What if they say that in a residential zoned area that the limit of personal storage will be 1k rounds to protect neighbors and firefighters or some crap, just common sense ammo storage rules we can all get behind. How about regulation that reloaders obtain an ammo manufacturer license (like they are doing with gunsmiths) and adhere to the same standards and regulations as Federal, CCI, etc. for production, testing, insurance, subject to Federal inspection and control. How about another one banning the possession of "ammo made for the battlefield" so all that milsurp spam-canned and crated stuff that you have been hoarding for a decade or two will have to be turned in/destroyed. Speaking of insurance, how about special liability requirements for renters/homeowners that say each firearm has to have at least 100k liability insurance for it, own ten guns, need 1 million coverage. How about a tax on each bullet to cover the cost of single payer health care for all the victims of gun violence, and we will have single payer health care soon enough folks. These are just a few off the top of my head, just imagine what the Left has been studying and craftily writing just salivating at the chance to unleash them on us as soon as the Supreme Court is taken over by their Leftist judges which with the way everyone is demonizing and denigrating Trump should begin in January.

He is far from perfect, far from "presidential", but he is the only chance we have to potentially prevent this for a few more years.
