    Anyone have one of these?
    Have you changed the springs?
If so , what make did you use?
I’m searching the web and see several different manufacturers Wolf, Apex and Wilson among others.

    Thanks.

The 640 is the same as any other J frame revolver except that the hammer is a different shape and has the guard around it. Buy a tune up set of springs from Wolff or Brownells. The kit will have different weight springs for the hammer and trigger. Wolff has been in the spring business for a long time and you can't go wrong with them.

Change whatever springs you'd like, and polish while you're in there...however make sure you thoroughly test fire before trusting it

If you want to change the springs out, I have a couple tools for the job. I'll send them up to you, I'll pay for them to get there if you pay for them to come back.

You can do it without them, but these make it much easier.

Thanks for the offer. A friend thinks he has the tool(s), he’s looking for them.

I don’t plan on doing anything until after vacation.
So if I need to borrow yours I will certainly let you know.
