Using your logic, we have Hogan, and others like him, to blame for Hillary taking the vote in Maryland.

Enjoy your two party system where neither side gives a damn about your rights or the Constitution, I'm done being a sheep, and playing their game.

Two party system? Only ONE of the seats in PG County is contested by an R. ONE! And the County Executive seat is NOT CONTESTED!

Look up corruption in the dictionary and you'll see

Well, big pharma is already doing that with the DOPE that they push through their glorified pill-pushers (often times known as physicians). If I may digress, the medical industry in recent times has become such a joke it's not even funny! Doctors are taught one of two things: either push pills or get surgery done; THAT'S IT!

THE worst branch of the medical field IMNSO is probably that of psychiatry! All most psychiatrists understand is the need to push as many pills as they can - even when those pills don't work! Most of the time, all the meds do is mask symptoms without solving the problems! It's no wonder their 'patients' wind up becoming unglued after awhile!

You speak of 'unlicensing'? Well, what we have under drug prohibition now IS 'unlicensing! These dealers wouldn't be in business if it wasn't for the the illegality of the trade! Gun control doesn't work for guns, just like prohibition doesn't work for drugs; it doesn't work for "illicit sex"; it doesn't work for gambling; and so on!

When you bring the "drug trade" out into the open, you put the dealers out of business and then they have to start getting real jobs! Now tell me; who has more of an incentive to 'push' drugs onto the public? Junior the street corner drug dealer, or the retailer?

...And again, that is due to the illegality of the substances in question! Something else; did you notice we didn't have quite this problem of an opium epidemic until we started our wars over in the Afghanistan and the like?

...And those individuals who do sell such food should be put away! The same applies to drugs, believe it or not! The street corner drug dealer isn't interested in quality; his sole purpose is to push whatever he can on whomever he can! The drug retailer or smoke shop doesn't have quite that incentive. S/he knows that if s/he sells bad stuff, s/he can face some sort of penalty and be put out of business!

I guess with this logic you present, why have any laws?

Regardless of your opinion, now is the time to make your voice heard. I for one will vote for Hogan and hope that he can carry other elections down ballot. He is our best chance of getting other Republicans elected within Maryland. For the average voter, he has been good for the Republican party.

    That's right. You tell them.

So where is this paradise you're moving to?

I haven’t found a ton of info on Shawn Quinn, but he’s former military and LEO. His platform is very pro-freedom which I would expect from an L.

I especially like his strong support of 2A, and his desire to severely curtail the welfare state.

To the folks supporting him, can you direct me to some resources so I can research him a bit more.

Even as the Republicans try desperately to claw their way back in this God forsaken one party state to re-establish even a two-party system to break the monopoly, some here would undermine that and risk putting the Left in total control.

Down-ballot races matter, maybe most importantly.

    Vote.

Somebody really ought to hip Shawn Quinn on FB live. Wolf has posted up two just today showing him out interacting with the voters and Quinn's page is littered with memes and his endorsement from NORML.

AND proudly boast about their efforts to undermine the removal of the One Party System from our state. :sad20:

Maryland has not been a "Two Party State" for more than six decades.

FINALLY we get folks to start accepting a second party... and we have to watch as others discourage it because it takes too much patience.

If jealous is allowed to win... WE in the Maryland 2A Community ARE SCREWED for a LONG time to come.

It's not about Hogan. It's about us. If Hogan loses, Maryland loses.

Hoagie has no one to blame but himself if he loses.

That logic is okay for anyone who doesn’t mind serving under a Socialist.
Kind of difficult to buy guns with NO MONEY... after YOU worked for it and had to then give it to Jealous to spend on those who DO NOT WORK and DO NOT BELONG HERE!

Who’s fault will THAT be???

So I'm voting for Hogan, holding my nose, but still voting for the man. What he did to Pat Mcdonough in the Baltimore County Executive's race is unforgivable and please don't even try to imply that he's a pro-2A governor - he's done nothing for our community. He's also spoken out against the NRA and the President, and as far as getting "folks to start accepting a second party", well, those folks have always liked Democrat-leaning Republicans, ask Connie Morella and Allan Kittleman. My vote is a vote against Jealous, not a vote for Hogan.

I understand that Hogan is not the Ideal candidate, because in my opinion he is not. I certainly do not want a full fledged socialist running my county, my state or my country. Since the Maryland State Governor is limited to two term of four years each, for you "Never Hogan" who are you going to get to run for the next election? Because that is what we all need to be thinking about and how to eliminate the Democratic majority in the Maryland State Assembly. So who do you think that represents your stanch A2 position that should be running for governor next election cycle?

I think most of us feel that way. No way I'm voting Jealous and unless we have open primaries( a man can dream can't he?) a vote for 3rd party just hands it to the Dems. I voted Perot in 92 and look what we've had for the past 25 yrs.
