So you’re pissed at Sig Sauer for not sighting in your firearm? That seems like a pretty lame reason to be upset with a company. Sight in your own firearm. It's not rocket surgery.

Sig put the wrong front sight on my p320. It shot crazy low.

Only after they sent me a new one that was the correct height did it shoot decently.

Rear sight was also visibly off center.

Not a big deal but it shouldn’t be that way. HK does in fact sight in their pistols from the factory. At least visually center the damn things.

I have a love hate relationship with Sig. Their customer service blows.

I bought a refurbished (by Sig) 226 some years ago. It came in a standard plastic case with a fancy red band around it. Supposedly reworked so as to operate as a new gun. It shot way off target. Other shooters did no better with it. Call Sig and a rather nasty rep told be there was no way they would accept the pistol back for sight alignment. I took it to the shop it came from, and they were more than happy to drift the sight, but had no shooting range to check the change out. So I drove home, tested the gun, and it was still off. Repeated process three or four times. No progress. The pistol is a safe queen, never to be taken to the range again. Not at all impressed with Sig service.

Let me know if you want to get rid of it. I have a little experience with Kentucky windage.

A couple of P220s recently picked up. Both are excellent shooters.

First SIG for me: P365XL w/RomeoZero Elite 3 MOA red dot optic. Picked this up from Hafer's WV store a couple of weeks ago---first handgun w/a red dot. Took it to the range and during the process to zero the optic the red dot crapped out. Went through all the trouble shooting procedures I could find on-line and in the owners manual but no joy. Finally wound up calling the optics division of SIG Sauer and the lady on the the line walked me through a couple of other procedures---still no joy.

So she asked me to remove the optic and take a couple of pictures of the serial number and QR code then send them to her. She explained the process of getting the techs to review the photos and send out a new optic would take about a week after she received my photos. I received a couple of e-mails along the way of where SIG was in the process and received a shipping notice from SIG about 5 days after my initial contact. Received the new optic three days later.

Best part is when SIG sent me the new optic they also sent the optional steel protective hood that goes with the RomeoZero Elite. This had not been included on the original purchase--- so I thought that was a nice way for SIG to make up for the inconvenience. Customer support was excellant.

Anyway-- went to the range after installing new optic and so far things are rolling along just fine. It's a bit of an adjustment shooting w/ red dot--- gonna take regular reps to get comfortable with this I think.

Based on experienced MDS shooters reviews, I went ahead and purchased the Wilson Combat frame for the P365. As of now and during dry fire practice--gotta say the firearm feels better/more natural in my hand with the new grip/frame. The grip stippling is certainly more aggressive-- but not significantly uncomfortably so. So far I'm a fan.

The biggest difference between a RDS and irons is, as you bring the gun up with irons, you try to pick up the irons as the gun comes up. With RDS, you keep your focus on the target as you superimpose the dot on the target. It's a bit of a learning curve.

Yeah-- my son swears by his RDS... As you say, I'm on a learning curve. What's that they say about old dogs and new tricks?

    I’m compensating for something.

P320 X5 Legion Blackout. Gray Guns trigger, because I never leave a trigger alone. Can’t wait to shoot it.

It sure would be! I was talking to @Blaster229 about shooting steel. Hopefully I’ll see you there.
