Another one I haven't seen posted here before

Here is my Marlin 39A 1962 vintage. Can't believe no one else has posted a picture of this classic .22 rifle. I think it held the distinction of being the longest continuously produced rifle in the world. Not sure if that is true any longer.

relative boring... lefty cz452 just picked it up today. added the DIP 25moa rail and a swfa fixed 10x scope. when i bought it, i had that shop send it to a 'smith who threaded the barrel for an inbound (hopefully by year end) suppressor and work on the trigger a little. bought a bunch of ammo to try and will try to figure out drops (and wind) out to 300 and maybe do a few precision rimfire matches with it, assuming it shoots and i can get decent dope. at worst, the overabundance of squirrels in my yard need to be worried, very worried...

I had a DIP rail. I really didn't like how it mars the top of the receiver when tightening the set screws. Also every time I removed it I would have to re-level my scope. I went with an area 419 rail in 30MOA. It gives you a little more elevation and doesn't leave screw marks on the top of the receiver. The bubble level in the base is basically useless though due to my raised cheek piece and the size of the scope blocking it from view. If you get frustrated with the DIP rail check this one out.

I went to the Frederick show today with a plan to only spend money on the new Tikka Tx1. The show was very very small only one building and maybe 50 vendors at most.

    No Tx1’s

But stumbled across this beauty instead.

Almost 50% below msrp. If I can get a scope setup tonight, it’s going to be 55° tomorrow so maybe I can offer a full range report when I get back.

Been looking for one for a few months,, yes another great Gun that they stopped producing,, now all they need to do is stop making the mini-14/30

I haven't seen one of these posted in this thread yet so here goes....

Very accurate, short lever throw and takes Ruger 10/22 mags. The previous owner refinished the stock and did an okay job, not great.

Manurhin Walther PP in 22LR. Really nice polished bluing that's gracefully aging. Looking forward to testing accuracy on the range.

First trip of the year with the 10/22. I always forget how much fun it is to put a few hundred rounds downrange with this rig. All groups are 50 yards with CCI standard except the really crappy group that was shot with Federal Gold Medal “match”. Does anyone get good results with this stuff? All my .22s hate it.

Friends were watching the youngest, so got to escape to the range for 30 minutes (love shooting when it's snowing). Long enough to figure out the sights, test a few different ammo types, and function check 4 mags (two flawless, one fails to lock back the slide, one has feeding issues - that can probably be remedied). The Manurhin Walther PP is even prettier in natural light.
