I am using it on my G17 and my SR1911, They are new guns with under 250 rounds thru them so far but the both wiped clean after a range trip. I am liking it so far.
Bit pricey and IIRC they say it works best of you strip the weapons down to bare metal. In the end it wasn't worth it for me given things I already have on hand and am used to (getting old and cheap is part of it I guess :-)
Used it on my 22/45 Lite and all my other guns and regretted it. Stuff gets gunky, especially on the 22. Switched to FireClean and would never look back.
Bet you forgot to warm the frog up first. They are cold blooded you know.
There have been THOUSANDS of posts on FL. It's a Pepsi/Coke thing. You either like it or you don't. If you use it (and I use it on 3 of my firearms) please refer to the following:
-yes, warming the metal helps, and I highly suggest it
-those who have had problems with it typically only make one application. I did 2 applications 2 days apart, then fired and did another cleaning and application. After your 3rd application you won't need to warm the gun anymore in most instances, and there is plenty of it to allow you to fire MANY (1000?) rounds without reapplication.
