Oh happy day!

Got the call today approx 10 months after mailing the Form 4 to BATFE. My Glock and MP9 have a new playmate.

I guess I better get the next one in process pronto before the BS with trusts is changed.

Is there a timeline for when trusts will be no bueno?

The stamp on my suppressor came back yesterday. 2/15/13 submittal. Trust, Paid with MO, Schedule A attached with the suppressor listed. Sent it by next day express.

Negative, IF the rules change as proposed, trust will still be valid but with additional requirement's levied upon them.

Talked to the ATF yesterday. They are currently working on forms that went pending the last week of February. Cmon March!

I had 2 approved last week that were both pending 4/08/13. And those were both slowed down slightly by correction letters.

Just talked to an FFL in VA that uses the eForms to submit form 4s. At the very least it cuts two months off the process and he has received approvals for eforms submitted in September.

I won't be mailing mine in anymore.

Just got this in my inbox. Seems the website will be down for a couple hours today.

Pardon the interruption!

It has been brought to our attention that the eForms system is experiencing some technical difficulties this week. In an attempt to remedy the problems we have determined that the best strategy would be to rebuild the system. We will bring the system down at NOON today for it regularly scheduled maintenance but we will keep it down until 2:00PM EST. This will allow our technical staff sufficient time to rebuild the system.

We hope that this will address problems you have been experiencing this week. It is our goal to provide you with an electronic filing system that will provide a more accurate and efficient method of submitting forms to us. The eForms technology is new to the bureau and we are learning how to optimize it to obtain the best performance for you our customers.

We appreciate your patience with us and apologize for the inconvenience.
