I was hoping to make my 50th post the announcement that my HQL had been made active, but that seems to be moving through the system slower than some others. My wife got her approval in less that 24 hours. I am now coming up on 48 hours and still waiting for the MVA and DHMH. Made me wonder how long it is taking everybody to get there HQLs.

Hopefully this will work as it is my first attempt to post a poll.

Well, it looks like my HQL finally went Active this morning. Total cost was $110.00 as we paid $60.00 for the prints. Not really too long a process only taking less than 58 hours from application to approval, not counting time to get printed. It sure seemed a lot longer, especially the 34 hours waiting AFTER my wife got her's.

Good luck with your application, should you choose to make it.

P.S. If anyone knows how to edit my poll entry, let me know and I will add myself at 3 Days. Otherwise, I will not be in the poll.

Has anybody used slightly older LiveScan prints. I did Livescan on September 9 for an NFA item and was wondering whether or not I REALLY have to have them done within 72 hrs of submitting paperwork for HQL?

Someone in another thread said that they used some prints that were, IIRC, a couple of months old. I think the 72 hour rule is to "Guarantee" that the prints are in the system as there is a limit on how long they are "required" to hold them in the system. In practice, they are probably in there for ever.

See if you can locate that thread (I am still learning how to do the searches on here) and maybe you can PM the guy for info.
