If you do go the 9mm route, these Foxtrot Mike lower seems to run well. Not as sophisticated as the CMMG radial delayed blowback, but they work and are almost half as much.

    Here is complete lower package:

[EDIT] Wow! "Aim inside". I think Intel is going to sue these people.

My blowback 9mm upper is a FM. It runs great I just wish I hadn't gotten the 3 lug barrel. I though it was a muzzle device but it's machined into the barrel. Now I need a 3 lug suppressor for it...

Does anyone besides American Defense Manufacturing make a fully ambidextrous 9mm lower?

I want a 9mm, with ambi functionality. ADM's UIC-9 has those, but it's pricey (MSRP of $1900) and I'd rather build it myself.

Unfortunately, haven't had much luck locating alternatives.

You know - I wouldn't mind trying a CMMG 9mm Radial Delayed Blowback upper and one of those mags in one of my existing AR's.

I built my 9mm AR upper using one of their barrel and bolt combinations along with the Endomags.
Has worked flawlessly until last Saturday’s Falling Steel match at AGC. Had several jams, currently have it apart for inspection . Ordered a bolt maintenance kit from CMMG, hopefully that will fix it.
Ran very well prior to Saturday, it’s a soft shooter.
If I had it to do over again, I might go for the CMMG Glock lower. Glock mags would be easier to switch during a match if need be.
