    Around 4:30 this afternoon (10-27) there was a helicopter hovering over Belle Grove Rd, near Belle Grove Elementary School and traffic was apparently being detoured off Ritchie Hwy onto Belle Grove Rd. Thick chocked traffic all over Belle Grove and Morgan roads.


    Anyone know what happened to cause this?

    update

    OP here:

    I stopped at a business on Ritchie Hwy. on Sat. night and asked if they knew what caused the commotion on Friday afternoon and was told that the restaurant Maynards had a fire.

    Oh, a good start for that area.....:lol2:

    I'm hopeful that the new high end housing coming to the Park of Brooklyn will revitalize not only the county part of that area, but also the Hanover/Patapsco section in the City. That area is ripe for some reinvigoration as well.

    Let’s hope Mr. Plank assists in the efforts. Considering the size of TIFF he’s receiving for Port Covington it’s the least he could do.
