Tonight (10-17) about 6:15 p.m. on the BW Pky, southbound just before the Good Luck Rd. overpass, there were about 3 or 4 deer grazing on the shoulder behind a stone wall. (I was driving about 60 mph so it was pretty quick). One of them was nearly completely white, with only a little brown splotch on its hind quarters. That was the right side, broadside. I don't know what it's left side looked like.

It was a pretty big doe.

Man, I wish I could have taken a pic.

I have never seen one that close to albino.

I used to see them a lot in Montgomery County near Sandy Spring as a kid. Groups of 4 or 5 together.

Used to be a lot of them in the Edgewood Arsenal area of APG including some bucks.

With limited hunting oppurtunities, they could survive quite some time as compared to unrestricted land.

Had a few albinos over the years too

We used to joke about it must be something in the water given all the contaminated areas

Last year I saw about a 2 1/2yr old piebald doe in my neighborhood about half a mile from Potapsco Park. Still been hoping I’ll come across it this year hunting down in the park.

We have a mottled one running on the farm we hunt. I promised the owner I'd kill her if she gets close. He thinks I should leave her lay and the meat might be tainted. If I dropper her, I'm eating her.

The only deer I got a shot at the first week of last rifle season was a spike and I let him walk. The owner told me "Good, he'd probably had all mushy meat." I said "Yea, probably tender as hell, but I wanted to let him grow bigger horns." :D
