The pie bald at work has twin fawns!! No pictures, she's in a restricted area of Meade.

I saw one suckling from it's mother in the middle of a cornfield last weekend. They saw my car and ran back into the woods.

    Dead on BW

Saw one dead fawn (smashed to heck) right in the middle of both southbound lanes of the BW Parkway today. Sad.

Plenty of fawns and turkey poult's around my place. The poult's are flying! It's good to see the turkey population doing so well in northern Baltimore county!

Just posted in the other thread of deer population exploding. I'm in Moco right next to the Patuxent Reservoir above Silver Spring. I have yet to see a single fawn. I started keeping an eye out early April as there's always been fawns with their mothers in our fields. It's rather depressing
