    Hunters,

I was looking at a site handgunhunting.com I believe, and there was referenced a place in SC called Collins Low Country Hunting Club.

I went to their web site and it looks pretty good. (Don't they all, though?)

Anyone have any experience or knowledge of this outfitter?

I've hunted in the general area and it would be a 9 hour drive from Balto. I can recommend Blackwater and Red Bluff in Allendale. I have not heard of Collins but deer hunting is an industry down there.

The last 2 years I have hit warm spells. It can go from frost in the morning to 60 degrees in the morning and having 70% shoot a deer to no one seeing a deer.

If you don't get much choice in when you can take time off, they do have a wonderfully long season. I hunted once on opening day in August. The deer are stupid then but its too damn hot.
