I think this is him again. There are several deer his size though.

I pulled a card yesterday. It appears I've found my big 10 and he's still around. Guess where I'll be sitting tomorrow...

Unfortunately, my camera went dead three weeks ago so it will be a bit of a crap-shoot. I'll be out all week though, either way.

I finally laid eyes on this deer yesterday. Holy crap! First thing that entered my mind was "oh look, a moose!". Then I realized where I was. These pics don't do him justice.

They are appearing at random times this year. The past several years I've seen them almost exclusively on camera at night.

This guy showed up on my one camera last week. My daughter hunted this stand last night and thinks she saw him, or one like him. Stalked up to within 75 yards but no closer due to the field. She said "If it was only next week!" :) She actually saw it on the left side of that field you see half way up.

Lots has to do with hunting pressure in your area...

The property was logged a few years ago and I saw a lot less deer the two years or so after that. Last year I saw more bucks than I ever have, but this year is just a different animal altogether judging by the pictures on the camera. I hope this holds this weekend when I'm in there. I didn't do any bowhunting at all this year and nobody has really been back there so I suspect you're right.

Caught these guys in my backyard. So far, I still have two cats.

Didn't see him yesterday but he did pose for a few pics last week, during daylight hours at that. He's a big old bruiser. Also got a 3 legger hobbling around. Notice the opposite side antler deformation.

Nice deer! The hobbler would be a cool one.

What you see here (besides a camera that is low on battery) is one fox staring at three raccoons, who give zero F's that the fox is right there.
