Lol, yeah, but need to save for a couple of rimfires right now, otherwise I might. So need to choose.

Both are good looking to me, so can't use that as distinguishing criteria.

Do you already have an AP63? That could be another good option for a very similar gun even cheaper. Probably have a better chance of getting a nice one.

You're expanding my indecision list! (Thanks )

I have plenty in 9x18 Mak but no 32ACP pistols. I do like CZ firearms, and haven't tried Hungarian manufactured guns. I'd defer to getting what is considered the more accurate, reliable, and comfortable gun to shoot with easy maintenance vs price savings if all are approximately under $270 (the CZ-50 cost with hand select).

I have a Hungarian made Browning Hi Power, the licensed copy. I also have the PA-63 and AP 32. They are all very well made pistols.

I would definitely say the CZ50 is a better made gun of the two, but the FEG is very fun to shoot, accurate and reliable. Mags are really hard to find for the FEG... The FEG feels better in my hand.

Edit: Sounds like you were asking between the CZ 50 and 70, oops. As far as comparing those two, there is very little difference. The grips, hammer, maybe a couple other small changes. As far as your criteria goes, I would say there's no difference.

I was going to post this is in the Just Got it Now thread but since it’s being advertised here ... I received my Cz50. I know nothing about them but, overall, I am very pleased. It came with a tiny piece broken off from the top left of the left grip panel. It was in the bag and there appears to be an old crack running through the underside of that piece of the grip. I glued it back but it looks like crap so I will have to find a spare pair of grips. All of the numbers match, although there is an odd number on the bottom left of the frame that looks like maybe a part or inspection number. 1965 production. B-block serial number.

Got ours , seems it came from Bloodymore as it had scotch tape on the grip. Took it off and found it was to keep the grip tight.

Apex Gun Parts has em for 20 bucks

Dang. I've been talking myself outta buying a cz-50 for 4 years. Broke down and ordered one.

I guess in a few days I'll know whether or not I'm a 32 ACP kinda guy.

    :)

Anyone have an idea of what is rubbing against the portion of the barrel that bears the S/N? I thought that it must be the extractor just because of its location, but I see that the extractor never touches the barrel.

Can't say for sure, but I've got the same rub on my CZ70, and they're fraternal twins. It never bothered me until now. I've always been more concerned about how the feed ramp looks like the previous owner let the slide close on a chunk of rebar. Hey - used cop guns.
