The only thing that would make the curve better: a trough backup sight.

That will still allow the shooter to aim.

Has the Curve hit stores yet? I wasn't able to find any online.

I really dig the Curve. Haters aside, I think the form and function of this weapon appears to be spot on. Once I start seeing positive reviews, I might have to pick one up.

BREAKING NEWS: Taurus Curve Already Recalled?

Taurus has released a statement:

“We recently discovered that a batch of the new Curve™ pistols left our facility without the caliber (.380 Auto) prominently displayed. We are requesting that these firearms are returned to us for proper marking. There are no quality or safety issues with these firearms. The marking error has been corrected and we are currently producing and shipping Curves to meet the significant demand for this product.”

More information and directions on how to return a firearm for marking are also available at www.taurususa.com/curvereturn.

How many firearms were affected?
This was limited to some of the first shipments that left our facility.

Early on they did because they didn't stamp the barrels with the caliber...

None made in a left hand version as of now. I think they just made it onto the last roster. Right now I do know they are very backordered due to demand so if I wanted one I would get an order in with a dealer now.

Thank you. This was good info. I thought they weren't on the roster so wasn't going to pursue one. Appreciate the update.
