    Clearly legal if it takes place out of state. I think it's a gray area if it takes place in state. Most people choose to minimize the risk and meet up out of state for the transfer.

    I don't think this will wash.

    The transfer must take place at the seller's address on the license.

    That would be MD.

    :thumbsup:THIS! And yes, this has been discussed frequently. If the parties go out of state, it's FTF (handgun); if in Maryland, then the C & R means nothing and the sale is treated like any other handgun or rifle purchase--dealer or MSP transfer.

    So go to Pa, Del Va., etc
