In light of this, I have a couple of impressions about the County TF...
Essentially it will make AA as big a sh1thole as Baltimore City, just like South Bends commission made the city as big a sh1thole as Chicago.
- The TF will assume a life of its own after the MGA probably makes it a statewide entity this spring.
- The TF will have no effect on "gun violence," but will bolster the political creds of all involved.
And of course, most of our county and state politicians are too stupid to come up with a truly original idea. All they can do is follow orders from their owners. But we knew this.
Yup. This whole thing is about papering the file to justify further infringements. The report will rely entirely upon "research" compiled, conducted, or funded by Bloomberg $. Well-placed Public Information Act requests may be illuminating on this front, although I'm not sure the PIA even applies to this thing.
They'll stamp the AA County seal on it to give it the imprimatur of legitimacy and non-partisanship. And they'll amazingly conclude based on the "research" that the same re-tread bs infringements are "necessary." Then they'll get to wave it around when the Politburo reconvenes, hence the December deadline for submission of the "report."
I'm obviously not voicing anything new, so I guess this is more of a rant.
