    I havent seen this guy since end of June on camera but looks promising...I think he goes completely nocturnal once season starts...

    No pictures, but was at Snowden movie theater last night. Two giant bucks grazing at the edge of the parking lot. One looked like a big 8. The other was a big 10 or 11 pointer.

    Another shot with his posse. Tough to get a good count but it's either 13 or 14 points.

    As mentioned earlier in the thread, that deer needs to breed a few more years. Imagine those genes being bred out for 4 or 5 generations? Those genes need to breed. That's a genetic freak, I sure would like to see him improve the stock in my area.

    they "bachelor" up till they shed their velvet then they go into rut...

    The scary thing for us this year, we've only seen singles lately. We had a bunch around early in the Spring, but now that they have their antlers, they've only been singles.

    Any old wives tales to explain that?
