I have not read through all of this thread,
but given how important a high turnout
would be, may I suggest a wider broadcast
of this by starting a parallel
thread in The Water Cooler, or at least one
short thread with details and a referral to
    this one?

Still trying to clear my calendar for this. How will the Nats parade affect this?

    Anyone bringing their kids?

I have a 9 year old that I plan on taking (share custody so no way out of it) but I'm worried that this could get put of hand with counter protest.

I'm bringing my 10 yr old.

Thanks; oddly enough it makes me feel better.

For me it makes for better optics to have kids there for the freedom hating press, but I admit that I worry my little one being in the middle of a counter protest, and you and I both know how civil Liberals (some Fudds too) are.

Will MDS have a rally point to show the MGA our solidarity/ show of force?

I disagree. It will make traffic/Metro MUCH worse, and it will be the focal point of the media instead of the 2A Rally.

Get ready for a sea of Red and curly W's.

It depends...one perspective, Metro is running more frequently because of the Nats games, so that makes it a little easier to bear.

FYI...Metro Busses are on strike so don't count on them, if you were thinking of it.
