I took my hunter safety online and in-person day course with the intent of using a shotgun to hunt deer, but recently I got a bow and feel comfortable enough to take it out this season. My question is, if I took the shotgun/rifle day course, do I need to take the bow day course/test to go out with my bow? Or am I all set to go once I purchase the correct license from the DNR?

For some reason I though/think there were two classes one specific for rifle/shotgun and another specific for bow, and if you took the bow one you would be good for both, but if you took the rifle/shotgun then you would not be good for bow hunting... I have been trying to research this, but haven't found anything.

I took my safety class in Jan 2013 in MD, and I am a MD resident.
