HPRB Under Attack: Hearings 3/12

Starting a new thread for the House Judiciary hearings on the bill to disband the Handgun Permit Review Board.

Democrats want to kill off the Board because citizen appointees are canceling the Maryland State Police “5th Amendment trap” that forces permit holders to explain—under threat of felony arrest—at any traffic stop how they are on compliance with “restrictions” that the MSP imposes.

No other state in the USA vets handgun permit holders to carry and then creates an obstacle course of “restrictions” to comply with as permit holders go about their day.

We understand there are 6 bills on the list before the HPRB testimony.

Traditionally witnesses and legislative hearings get three minutes as you can see from the permanent sign on the desk. But in the background you can see the gun nuts only get two minutes because they are tired of our shirt!

To be fair, there should be no review board at all. Like the rest of America, send in your prints and check, get a permit.

Supreme Court will take care of this soon.

If Maryland continues to go down a path of more restrictions and more of taking rights away .
The Moms and other anti's will find the end result not what they are looking for . I am wondering if we just keep letting them hose us will be better so when they make that last push , they will get sued at the highest court level .

This is more of a thought and not an absolute in my thoughts , kinda just throwing it out .
