The one time I went fishing in the bay I landed a 38" rockfish. That was right tasty, too. Had fish for a week.

Heading back out again soon. Hooked up with some co-workers who have been going out with the same guy for 30 years and they were throwing back 35"s last time they went out lol. Got a trip booked for October, 2 in November, one in December and 2 in January lol. Its addictive as hell.

doesnt the rockfish have to be 28" or longer to keep them?

28 is during "Trophy Season" and 18-28 during other non-closed seasons.
