Phil join us at Thurmont Conservation and Sportsman's Club on Tuesdays for some trap shooting. We are open to the public stating at 5:30pm.

Great way to practice and meet some fellow shotgunners and hunters.

And the price is right. :D

    I believe it's only $3.50 per round.

biermkr: Thanks! I'll be there this coming Tuesday.

Which leads to another question: Can I legally leave my shotgun in my car's trunk all day? I am thinking of going to the range straight from work. Thanks again.

Handguns would definitely be a no-no because taking it work isn't an approved destination (unless you actually own the business or lease the property it's on).

Long guns, on the other hand, I understand are totally fine as long as they're not loaded. If I had more balls, I'd keep my HiPoint 995 in the trunk with loaded mags in the center console, but the simple fact is a cop that doesn't know the laws can still ruin your day.

That said, I'd say go for it, since you actually have a reason to do so, not "just cuz I can."

IANAL, and neither is Novus, but he may be able to verify if I'm correct on this.
