How is the pricing on reloading supplies at the Nation's Gun show say versus Bass Pro pricing? What other local sources for reloading supplies are their. I live in Southern Maryland and work in Montgomery county.

Better than Basspro. There are three main vendors that come to mind. Last I checked, I believe 8lb jugs of most rifle powders are $180-200 and regular primers are $150 per case.

Thanks for the information. I don't need bulk amounts yet. I just got my press. I am only reloading one caliber at the moment.

I won't make the drive JUST for reloading supplies, but what I save on 2 boxes of primers can pay for the entry to the show. Basspro is more than $40/1000 for anything. And they break them up into 100's instead of selling box of 1000.

I didn't see any primers for under $30. I paid $24.00 for a pound of Bullseye so not much of a deal. Got some 38 cal powder coated semi wadcutters for $23. Most vendors were charging tax.

I have called out illegal tax collections from out of State vendors in the past. If they advertise as being from PA and ask for MD taxes, is ask to see their MD sales tax permit. They usually change their minds real quick then.;)

In the past, I've bought a lot of my reloading supplies at gun shows. I was planning on going to the show anyway and the money I saved on hazmat shipping more than made up for the cost of admission. Plus I just like going to gun shows!

I ended up going to bass pro. Got a pound of Hodgdon Lever revolution powder, cci large rifle primers, 50 Winchester 30/30 brass cartridges and 100 Hornaday FTX . 308 bullets.
This is my first venture into reloading.
